I was wasting time, looking at Jump the Shark for "Hey Dude" and I decided to IMDB the actors from it. First of all, let me say that only Melody (Christine Taylor) and Ted (David Lascher) have done ANYTHING acting-related with their lives. Secondly, and more importantly, I think it's my sad duty to tell you that Joe Torres, who played the loveable Indian Danny Lightfoot, is DEAD. This freaks me out because he'd probably only be about ten years older than me. Weird.
In a related sort of thought, it's weird to think that most of the shows that I liked circa the early nineties were only on for like, 2 to 3 years. At the time, it seemed like they had been on/would be on/were on forever. Strange. I wouldn't say no to watching some good old "Salute Your Shorts" or "Hey Dude" or "Are You Afraid of the Dark." That Brad was a real bitch though.
