The plot revealed
Okay. So, given NNWM, there hasn't been a lot of fanfictioning recently. That's not to say I haven't been working on my fics -- there's one, in particular, that's been getting some attention. Of course, I haven't started writing it.
Yes, you heard me.
What I HAVE been doing is working on the plot. I've been trying to figure out a decent plot for this stupid fic for something like a month. Though the main bits, as per usual, weren't too difficult, all of the nitty gritties, little things like continuity and motivation and stuff like that have taken me a while to sort out.
But, after who knows how many hours of going back to it, trying new ideas, futzing around until everything flowed together...I think I have it. I think (though I'm seriously not sure) that I might actually have a viable plot for this thing. More than that, I think I might have a halfway decent plot. Given that my plotting skills bite the big one, that's saying something. The fic is for Psych, and I think I actually have a case (though it's not really a big one, nor is it very traditional in the tradition of the show), it actually gets worked out over the course of the story, there's at least one sub-plot (which is what I actually started with, of course)...
I think I might have something here. Is it great? Oh hell no. Might it actually be a real, serviceable, COMPLETE story? Yes, I think it just might.
Now, heh heh heh, all I have to do is, you know, write it.
