October 8th, 2005 [*HOMECOMING*]
"Don't Wanna Miss A Thing"
best night ever.
slept in til 10:30 [mr. bridges pulled us out of the Wayne County >-CC-> meet]. went running to levagood and around the park and back. then, i took a shower and watched the the michigan vs. Minnesota game. i was supoose to be there but my lil sister and grandpa went instead. it was michigan's homecoming. so, then i went o Lasting Impressions and Roberta did my hair. i loved it! [i'll make sure to post pictures of it]. it was "very intricate" as people would say and i got lots of complements on it. then i went home and watched the rest of the michigan vs. minnesota game. it was soo depressing. michgan lost the little brown jug. :( then, i went and got ready and put my dress on and shoes. i went to my grandma's at 5 with my sister and eli and took pictures. it gets to be 5:10 and i'm still at my grandma's and i have to be at ally's for pictures by 5:13, so, mee and mom mom are leaving and then i realize all of a sudden that i forgot jared's boutineer at home. so we had to drive home and get it and then we showed up 5 minutes late to ally's. there were parents EVERYWHERE. 3 couples were already there. james & alicia, jake & ally, and lauren & mike. jared wasn't there yet. but they started taking pictures and i was the only one without a date, it was ackward. and people refered to me as green girl, becasue i was the only girl with a dress on other than black. lol. Loni: "is that you stephanie? you look so grown up! how old are you?" me: "fifteen". lol. it was hilrious because loni recognized me and she also took control of teh picture taking posing too. then, kellen & lindsay showed up together and jared came after. it was so funny, jared was trying to give me my corsage and parents were telling him to get in the picture and i was like "lets do this later." lol. and so the 5 couples there: jared & me, lindsay & kellen, james & alicia, jake & ally, and lauren & mike took pictures. then, katie & joe showed up and we took some more pictures. finally when we stopped "seeing dots", jared put on my corsage while his mom took pictures [lol]and i attempted to put on his boutineer but failed misreably, so his mom did it for him. then we took "couple shots" with each couple by themself. it was REALLY cute. and jared's mom wanted some outdoor pictures, so we went outside and took pictures. i can't wait to see these pictures! then everyone took pictures by the limo and we all got in and drove to Ciao's for dinner. no one could pronounce anything on the menu so we all had to point at what we wanted. lmao. "let's got and get some hot & readys" lol. "can i just have so raviolli with cheese?" lol. "katie! there's your escalade limo!" [katie freaks out "i wanted that one!"] i got the Ling"weiner" Ragu. it was really good but HUGE. i felt bad because i was the only girl who didn't share a meal. lol. i felt bad because the guys paid for the meal and ciao is really expensive. it was really sweet tho that jared paid for the dance tickets and dinner to. "whoa stephanie! jared brought a $100 for you!" lmao. kristie/DC's group showed up too and so did michelle's. there were so many people there for homecoming. joe played the bass and sang in the bathroom. lol. then, the duet instrumentalist men came over and sang happy birthday to joe. lol. then we let and got in teh limo the Stan "the man" our driver. DJ'ing. yes. he drove us out to Wayne and then back so we showed up at the dance at 8. it was awesome! it was SO hot tho. i got sucked into the middle and it was like a sauna in there and all the guys were dripping with sweat and it was nasty because they'd brush up against you. ICK! people were asking me why i wasn't dancing when i was in the middle and i was like "because i can't move!" lol. it was so crowded. me and jared danced together a lot. fast dance...slow dance. "ah..how do you fast dance with a boy?!" lol. when i was dancing with jared one time, kristie and e*ho came up with me and asked for me to dance with them "uh...it's not a good time right now." lol. then at 9, we took our >-CC-> leg shot. there were so many girls there this year. it was sweet. <3 then i went back into the dance and a slow song came on and i was like "jared's probably dancing with another girl." and it was so cute. just like a movie, i was looking for him and i was about to give up but then i turned around and he like grabbed me. lol. it was fun dancing with jared. and then i danced with kristie and e*ho and DC too and with kendal and madeline and dina. i was so sad when the last song played ["Don't wanna miss a thing"] because i didn't wanna leave. "did you have fun?" "of course." [<3] then me and jared went to go find our star. we did, then we went and waited in the never ending coat check line. it was freezing outside after the dance so jared offered me his coat [<3]. after the dance we got back in the limo and drove around on the highway for awhile then we went to jake's house and watched Pirates of the Carribean. sweet. then, ally drove me, jared, and katie home. WHAT A NIGHT! <3 <3 <3
