California, WTF?
My fellow Californians, we're voting to let animals stand up and walk around before we kill and eat them, but not to let two consenting adults marry? Sigh. My Bay Area voted no, but LA county is voting in favor of the ban. Ironically the large African American turn-out is helping pass Prop 8 according to exit polls. The only blight on a wonderful night; I really thought Prop 8 would be defeated. :(
