Kolkata
Valerie and I arrived in Kolkata (the Indian spelling) yesterday morning. The place takes a little getting used to and we are both tired from moving from city to city. I will be happy to stay put here for a few weeks.
Nothing exciting to report yet. Our room is nice, hot water, more comfortable beds. Breakfast has been mediocre. We are planning on going sari shopping at some point, which I am looking forward to. I don't like going shopping for clothing by myself. This afternoon we are going to the Mother House to see where Mother Theresa lived and worked. They will give us a volunteer assignment for the rest of the week. I am going to also check out some other volunteer opportunities while I am here.
