FREE AT LAST!
I had my interview yesterday, and for those wondering, I ended up borrowing a really professional yet cute dress from my mom.
The job would entail re-drawing CAD renderings for their many multi-page out-of-date manuals. Not exactly what I thought graphic design was, but okay. They seemed interested in me except the position will roll over into the fall, and I practically have a 9-5 schedule at school during the fall, so they may not hire me because of that. I wouldn't be heartbroken if they don't choose me, though. I still have my job here at the NSSTC, and they need my help anyway.
But...this means that I don't have anything to worry about for the rest of the summer (as far as I can tell)! I don't have any more portfolio pieces to finish. I don't have to go running around the entire city of Huntsville looking for presentation folders and adhesive CD sleeves. I don't have to print out any more business cards! I'm DONE...until fall. So if anyone wants to go for sushi some afternoon, please don't hesitate to call!
