Another sad day
Well as most of you know already, George Carlin died last Sunday from heart problems. Well Michael Turner, a well known comicbook artist, has just died as of yesterday.
He's best known for his Witchblade and Fathom comic series. He's been an artist for a loooong time and has a very unique style.
"In March 2000, Turner was diagnosed with cancer, specifically chondrosarcoma in the right pelvis. He was treated at UCLA Medical Center with surgery in which he lost his entire hip, 40% of his pelvis, and three pounds of bone. The surgery was followed by nine months of radiation therapy."
The guy was only 37. When I read this I was really bummed out. I wish his family the best in these hard times.
