My last two months in Singapore have been nothing short of an emotional roller-coaster. While packing my belongings and rummaging through items of nostalgia and sentiment in my bedroom earlier, I was reminded of the numerous memories made on this island.
The extended time spent with old friends and re-connected acquaintances this time round have left me wondering if there is perhaps still something back here for me. It's easy to let these feelings fade away when one is busy creating a new life elsewhere, but the universe occasionally throws something unexpected your way and forces you to rethink options and re-evaluate life choices.
I'm not saying that there is a fundamental shift in my mindset, but there is certainly a minute disturbance in the force, and I'm not about to ignore it. What I intend to do with it remains to be seen. Time to rekindle the spark.
