Dear President-Elect Barack Obama,
I must respectfully disagree with your opinion that late tern abortion should be legal. I do not agree with terminating a full term pregnancy.
It is against my conscience for innocent babies who are clearly human beings to be aborted and not given the chance to survive and to experience life. My values do not permit me to accept anything like this, whatsoever.
As a man of faith, I do not understand how you could support something this repugnant.
The inhumane process of ending the life of a full term baby and suctioning the brain matter of a baby, that clearly has all the features necessary to deem it as a living human being, goes against everything I stand for. I believe that such actions give the wrong idea to our children. Such actions are clearly wrong.
If a mother’s life is not in danger a baby has the constitutional right to life.
You have the power to make sure that late term abortion doesn’t happen legally in our country while you are in office. Please reconsider your stand on this issue and remember that precious lives count on you to protect them.
Remember, innocent children are depending on you to exercise your legislative influence and executive powers to protect life.
Thank you for reading this letter. It is my hope you will make the right decision for the coming generations.
Sincerely,
Quincey Winston, Jr.
