I've had a great day, today. And I just felt the need to share a bit.
I had the day off today. Slept in, which I desperatly needed. I haven't been sleeping well for some reason, and the sleep in did me major good. Took my morning easy, did some laundry, and tiedied up ever so slightly. Made a hair appointment which I've been needing, for next tuesday. Afterwards, made some yummy and strong coffee, fed my lizards a big meal, and then headed out to do some shopping with a friend.
Went to Pearly Gates and picked up henna for my hair, Nag Champa soap, Sage (thanks Shelley! I would have forgotton), and some incense matches. Then, headed to Bath Junkie, where I made a Nag Champa shower gel and Sandalwood shower gel. Looking forward to using them. If you live in Huntsville, you need to visit Bath Junkie. Very nice people, cool little place, very expensive though.
They also had this incredible Patchouli and Thyme soap that I desperatly wanted to get, but had decided that I spent enough money for today. Then, last stop, we ran into target where my Shelley bought me a very cool puzzle. My next off day will be spent putting it together.
The rest of my day has been spent pretty much just relaxing.
Mixed my henna, and plan on henna-ing my hair this evening.
Now for a crestie rant. =)
My eggs are looking SOOOOOOOOOOOO good!!! *knock on wood*
They are starting to majorly swell! I am amazed on how much they have grown. They've rounded up quite a bit, and are still looking solid and strong. Going on day 36. Potentially 54 days left to go.
My patience is starting to dwindle.
Also, when checking out my momma crestie, I think she and her mate managed to do a little damage before I seperated them, and I think she has 2 more eggs in her. I wasn't planning on that, but I guess that's what happens when you leave them still together a few days after she laid her first clutch. I'm pretty sure she has 2 more in her. She's been digging around in her Pothos plant over the past few days. I need to remove it and put her nesting box back in.
More crestie babies. Pretty soon we'll have all kinds of cresties climbing the walls.
This is momma crestie, by the way.
I don't think I've posted that photo of her before.
She's a cute little red dalmation.
I got her free from work because she's missing her tail.
Anyway... that is all for now.
