T, An intriguing comment, as I feel quite the opposite, really, at least in real life: stuck in my cave. The average day consists of my leaving my apartment once, to go for an extended walk to and from the center of town, along the way stopping at a café and acquiring bread and cheese and whatever else I need to cook for the evening. The exception: on Tuesdays, when I teach my class. I spend the remaining time reading, and yet feel no closer to so-called "understanding." Which reminds me of the wonderful monologue delivered by the Cervantes character in Man of La Mancha: "He had much time for books. And all he reads oppresses him, fills him with rage at man's murderous ways towards man. He broods, and broods and broods, until finally, from so much brooding, his brains dry up. He conceives of the strangest project ever imagined..." Sorry, I'm rhapsodizing. But truly, it is nice to return here. I flood the inbox of my (distant) lover every day with links to interesting articles and odd musings and mutterings; now I can foist such nonsense upon a broader audience, no?
The latest picture of you (your advertisement) is quite alluring. So what has kept you busy, during your own three year absence? It does feel good. Yours, astrophel_
