This radio told me that this weekend marks the birth or death or anniversary of some important day pertaining to Elvis Presley. After listening to various callers request their favorite Elvis song and remember their favorite Elvis moment, I came to the decision, that deep down you are either and Elvis fan or a Beatles fan. If you haven't been able to tell, I'm not an Elvis fan, I never really have been an Elvis fan and more than likely, if his song came on the radio I would change the channel. I mean he did contribute substantially to the music world, and there are a few songs I'll listen to ie: Rubberneckin', Suspicious Minds, Stuck on You, but when it comes down to it...I am a Beatles fan, a die hard Beatles fan. I dont know what happened to Elvis this weekend, for all I know it is the anniversary of him eating a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich, wait I found it out, they just said it is his birthday. See I don't even care. The Beatles revolutionized music, defined rock and roll, lead generations and moved the world. Elvis, I feel, was in the right place at the right time and mastered the black voice for the white man to lsiten to. Feel free to voice your own opinion, let me know who you're a fan of and why, because my theory is you cannot be a fan of both. I just don't think you can.
