Wow so last night was a bust, but oh well. I look at New Year's the same way I look at birthdays. It is another designed to make us comtemplate where we have been and where we are going. I 'm not one to reminisce and I live to often for the day to look ahead to the future, so I just decided to have some wine and get smoked and watch the lame events going down at the Duluth Civic Center. It looked at a lame party but all of Duluth was there. I don't think, even if I lived in Duluth, that I would have ever paid 45 dollars to play on a table sized operation board all night long drinking my complimentary glass of champange awaiting a balloon drop in the return to the 80's room, which didnt fall down. Oh yes, it was great, midnight came and went and the balloons were stuck to the net they were held in and didn't fall, how sad. Well after that, watched a little Anchorman had the last glass of wine I told my self I shouldn't have had and went to bed. Hope everyone has a great new year. I made my only resolution...to stop smoking when I'm 30. I'm pretty sure I can hold that up for the next six years.
