Let's not talk about love this time

I find writing poems very helpful to distract myself from what is going on in my head lately and to give all the awkward emotions a place. Some things I simply prefer not to talk about (Dad would probably assume I'm 'unhappy', and Mum would just laugh at me), and I'm better at writing anyway. Most poems I've written these days are either about 'memories long forgotten' (year four and the wonderful things that happened then) or that one person I can't seem to get off my mind, but I wish I could just write something light-hearted, something happy instead. I've got my final examinations coming up so I can't write about broken hearts all the time! D:

Good news: Girls Aloud are releasing a box set with ALL their singles (even Untouchable: I counted them), some booklet with background info and a bonus disc with rarities. The singles are also said to have the complete, original tracklists on them (MEMORY OF YOU!!!), so YEAH! It's still quite expensive, though...

I need money, nao!
