Hand over your microfiche!
Went to the downtown library yesterday with marmalade_girl and her hubby. I hadn't gone in years and I was shocked that very little seems to have changed. I dragged her up to the microfilm section and forced her to help me skim through NY Times articles from 1917-1918. They have a fabulous collection there; I'll definitely have to go back. *___* It was fantastic. They even let you print copies of the articles for free. Most excellent.
Afterward we all hung out for awhile. They even treated me to a tasty chicken sandwich in German Village. I had a lot of fun. Thanks, marmalade_girl !
