"Is my cooking really that good?" Watanuki had to ask, after dwelling over the lessons with his new culinary pupil added to the fact that he himself could never remember what his cooking tasted like.
"Why ask me?" Doumeki replied, stone-faced as always.
"Because." Watanuki scratched his cheek. "Haruka-san said that you never put anything in your mouth unless you're completely satisfied by it." He glanced up at the other boy, suddenly feeling embarrassed for some reason.
Doumeki stopped, turned, and stared at him. After a long moment of consideration, he leaned forward and pressed his lips to Watanuki's. It took surprisingly little coaxing to guide Watanuki's tongue into his mouth. He indulged in a few moments’ mutual exploration before pulling back in satisfaction.
Watanuki stood there, stammering and sputtering, his face flaming red. As he noticed Doumeki walking away, he finally forced words to once again fly out of his mouth while carrying all of their usual bite.
"How is that an answer!?" he roared at the retreating back.
Doumeki just smirked and plugged his ears.
