We were watching the "history of halloween" the other night on the history channel, and they mentioned that centuries ago, girls would use halloween as an excuse to get together and use divination to find out about romantic prospects. I definitely remember doing that in elementary school, getting out the ouji board and asking spirits if my crush liked me (hell, we all did, right?)
