whale watch!!
I went on a whale watch yesterday and it was most awesome. I was actually surprised at how many whales we saw and how close they came to the boat. It's just so amazing to see these large animals up close and in their natural habitat; I know I've probably seen the same thing on TV, but seeing it in person is so cool. And you could tell that everyone on the boat felt the same way. After the first few sightings, people were cheering and clapping.
No big surprise, but I am now the proud adopted mother of a whale :) Don't think I get any visitation rights, but at least I'll get a picture of my darling sometime soon. I wanted to take a whale home with me, but seeing how it would be too big to live in the bathtub comfortably, this is probably the next best thing.
