I am still working on my
genprompt_bingo card in an extremely scattershot fashion, figuring that eventually some sort of bingo will happen there. (Look for another ficlet coming soon! Or maybe soon. Coming whenever I overcome my laziness and get around to editing it, anyway.)
There are a lot of prompts still left on that card, though. So, really, the absolute last thing I need is yet another bingo card. Right? Right?
Ahem.

I really don't know what to do with that. It's an interesting mix of prompts I like and prompts I'm meh about, and, of course, both those things occur on the same lines. (Universal law of Fic Bingo: if you're considering opting out of a prompt and decide not to in order to keep things simple and because you're sure you could write something for it if you had to, that prompt will, inevitably, come up on your card.)
Unlike
genprompt_bingo,
trope_bingo does have a deadline, so I will actually have to pick a line and focus on it. But I'm sure I'll figure something out.
In other writing news, yes, I am working on my Past Imperfect story. Actually, I kinda-sorta have something written, but I'm feeling very insecure about it. I don't think it's as tailored to the recipient's likes as I'd prefer it to be, and I worry that it's not nearly of the level of quality it ought to be. But it seems to be the only thing that I've got in my brain for this request, and sometimes all you can do is write the thing you can write. Right?
Anyway, hopefully it's just that I'm currently in that seemingly inevitable stage of the writing process where I'm certain that whatever I've just written must be crap, until I go back and read over it and decide it's actually pretty good, after all. Although I'm a little afraid to look at it and find out, to be honest.
