I Wrote! I Wrote!
Many thanks to those of you who rode herd on me to actually finish working on my charity story. As is so often the case with things I've been putting off, it turned out not to be all that daunting and time-consuming, after all.
Anyway, having given it the twice-over and come up with a title and stuff, I now find myself in need of a beta. Anybody up for it? This is my version of a "Journey's End" fixit, featuring Donna and the Seventh Doctor, with added bonus Wilf. It's completely gen, and about 4,000 words. This is my first real attempt to write Donna, and I'm a bit uncertain I've gotten her voice completely right, especially as her language tends to be much slangier and more casual than most Who characters. So a Brit-picker and/or someone with a good feel for Donna would be especially welcome on this one. (jhall1, I know you'd probably volunteer, but, yes, you are disqualified this time.)
Right. Now I need some lunch. And then I need to start thinking about my remix story. I've finally picked a piece to remix, but deciding what to do with it may be somewhat problematical. Of course, it's problematical almost every year, but somehow always in new and different ways.
