Ficcy Stuff
I know, I know. I have been around LJ surprisingly little of late. This is largely because last week was a giant, sucking abyss of sleep deprivation and circadian fucked-upedness like you would not believe. Fortunately, the pattern of my days and nights seems to be settling down into something vaguely approaching normal now, at least for some definition of normal, and my brain is working again.
Which means I'm going to blather on about fic I'm writing some more. Hey, working brain = writing brain! I wrote about 200 words or so of my Sweet Charity story yesterday, and banged out another 750 this morning. And I'm starting to feel pretty good about it. I'm not sure the world really needs yet another "Journey's End" fixit story, but once I got started, it was interesting and kind of fun coming up with my own take on it. So, thanks for coming up with that request, jhall1!
I've also gotten my Remix Redux assignment now. I haven't had the chance to read over my remixee's stories yet -- actually, I think I may deliberately hold off until after I finish the charity thing -- but I did glance over the list, and it looks like it might be a little bit of a challenge, in a pleasant, non-scary way. So that's good.
And I am still planning on writing some more Pretender fic sometime. I'm not entirely sure quite what I want to write, though, as several possibilities have presented themselves to my mind, but none of them have jumped up and down screaming "write me!" So I figured I'd offer up a poll to see what people might be interested in:
