It's Not Even April First! I Double-Checked!!!!!!
OMG! OMG! OMG! Look at the news I woke up to this morning!!!!!!!
That's right. A new season of Good Omens. For. Real. I had been hearing some rumors, but, man, I've been hearing rumors since approximately five minutes after the show came out. They pretty much all turned out to have been started by clickbait websites, so I'd gotten in the habit of dismissing them out of hand. But this time, it's been announced by Gaiman himself. (Also, OMG, look at the image they're using to promote it. So. Much. Love.)
Gaiman and McKinnon are producing/show-running, with McKinnon directing, and Sheen and Tennant are, of course, back, so I'm trusting -- OK, I'm 95% trusting -- that it will be glorious. Part of me, though, can't help thinking that, wait, I was really enjoying writing a thousand and one different versions of Aziraphale and Crowley's relationship and what they do next, including things that I think we can confidently say we will not get in canon, and that part of me is genuinely pouting, just a little, at the thought of being jossed or constrained by new canon, or whatever. But that's okay. I'll get over it. Probably.
