You should get one of the magazines about cat breeding from WHSmiths. My mum used to breed cats and she used to get a couple - one was called "Your Cat", and there was one which was less pretty but a lot more informative which I think was called "Cat World". I say this because they have a classified section in the back which list cat breeders who have litters available for sale by location and by breed.
Devon Rex is a great choice though! They're not just quirkily adorable (they look all muddled up!), they have really great personalities too. They're loving, very vocal and extremely mischievous. I met a few some years ago and they were great!
Awww, Devon Rex really are cute and adorable. A friend used to have one and to say it was a bit of a terror is an understatement but it got away with anything cos one look into those big eyes is enough to turn you to mush. I don't know anywhere offhand but i'll have a word wit a very people in the know and will see if there's anyone local breeding. Otherwise Kato is right, magazines are the best source. It'd say take a peak at http://www.devonrex.com/ but it appears to be down atm.

I have a feeling Devon Rex cats are quite expensive though but I have my heart set on getting one at some point.
