So my mother has been officially missing for a week and half, and I now have all sorts of new police numbers, ranging from local to national, in my phone. We've searched hundreds of hotels, several bus stations and airports, and under all the standards rocks one is supposed to upturn when someone goes missing.
I've moved myself from Porto Alegre to Montevideo, where I can still organise the search while being around friends and family and what not. If anyone wants to call my phone is currently roaming, so it'll cost you 2.45/minute, but conveniently enough you can just dial as if I were in the US, which is quite the phenomenon.
Ok, I've finally gotten around to tokenly writing about these grave issues, so the journal can move on.
