An entry in which the author is poisoned
I think I have been poisoned. Could my website be so controversial as to elicit such wrath from my enemies? I feel ridiculously nauseous and my stomach is on the verge of becoming...origami.
Concept of the Day/Week: MetroPigeon
Has any one else seen these interesting creatures? I was coming home today from some much-needed center city romping when I noticed a couple of pigeons flying down the subway tracks, outrunning the trains, or failing to do so and turning away. They would land on trashcans or stairs, pick at some discarded popcorn or french fries, and continue down the windy tunnels to another station. Occasionally I noticed one of them flying up or down the escalators, so I can only assume they know of the way back to the outside world, and just prefer the comfortable depths of SEPTA and the grimy caverns of Philadelphia subterranean transportation.
