Well I hold the rope...
Hey everyone, has been a while since i've updated this, i think. I dont know, but whatever.
I came back to tvl last night, after spending a lovely quickish trip to Adelaide, for Renees 20th birthday. Was a marvellous time, and i bought her a rose. And cursed when the swans won the gf.
We stayed in a hotel for Saturday night, the big celebration night. Went to a few cool spots, drunk too much, and ahh. I don't know what exactly made it such a good night, maybe just being there? I also brought my new guitar, and we jammed a few times. Even recorded some video and audio, might show you guys some snippets of that sometime. Red rain anyone? Gasm. Our band doesn't have a name yet, I was thinking of 'The Amcats' but not sure if its a goer yet. We have no problem making up songs on the spot, give us a week of jamming and I say we could eaaaasily write at least an EP's worth.
I know its such a simple thing but spending time, not necessarily doing anything at all, is just so cool. I really like doing it, to the point i'm moving to Adelaide, possibly by the end of the year. Yes you heard right chums, it's onnnnn. Well, I hope it still is ha. That's not to say i won't be coming back to Townsville, my olds are still here. And that's not to say I won't be coming back to Perth, cause thats where my brother and a lot of you guys are) who knows, Renee might be coming with me BDO time :) le awesome, non?
So i'll probably be into the swing of things tonight and be back at work at the Lisa McCune flavoured dungeon of retail repulsion that is Coles, but hey, it's money. After I pay back a debt to mum, the green light is on for hk saving once again. Work should be a breeze in the next 6 weeks. My body took quite a erm hammering over the weekend with everything, drinking, jamming, heaps of walking, heaps of.. but i'm feeling better already which is good. Blah to the blah blah blah.
Theres never a perfect time to let out something that doesn't want to be heard, but saying it is better than not saying it. So be open with the one you love, it's never too late to change things for the better... thats my advice for today.
