My mom's really sick. Please pray for her or something. Anything. She's been throwing up all week, and today when she went to the doctor he sent her to the emergency room. She's dehydrated and hooked up to an IV, but beyond that they don't know what's wrong with her

sure you can still come over. My mom had a really bad problem with her heart a few years ago and we were lucky that she survived. I'll pray for your mom. I think she'll be alright.

Argh. I hope your mom is better soon. I know that sounds horrifically cliched or something, but I don't know how else to respond, specially since I spent the afternoon at "Eternal Sunshine..." with my mom. I liked it though, immensely. And so did my mom, which suprised me a little. You should see "The Winter Guest." The bit in the beginning where Clementine runs out onto the ice and Joel is afraid of it breaking reminded me of that movie. Only in "Winter Guest," the guy who panics about the ice breaking actually does break the ice and panics further even though the water only came up to his ankle and he was about a block from his house. Sort of a similar relationship though.

Oh, but I love the end, when Clementine is listing all the things that'll go wrong if they fall in love again and Joel just says okay.
