I looked out the window and what did I see?
It is beautiful outside. We just spent about 90 minutes running around the yard. I wore sandals, and am now determined not to wear socks again until next October. Of course, living in Utah, it will probably freeze and snow again before March is over. But I won't put them on, and you can't make me.
Alex has whatever bug Cooper and I had last Saturday. Just a low fever and a snotty nose, but it's enough to make him, and consequently me, adequately miserable. I was fine by Sunday, so hopefully Alex can kick it quick as well. He really needs to, as we're scheduled to look at a bunch of houses tomorrow afternoon, and more on Thursday. We're dropping Cooper off to play with Emma and Carter both days, which I think will be better for everyone. Tomorrow, Craig & Rebecca are coming over for dinner. I'm planning on wowing them with my Finger-Licking-Liquor-Chicken (Chicken Marsala). And then Thursday, we'll take Dan & Melissa out somewhere moderately inexpensive in return for watching our kid(s). Eeesh, and I thought I was tired today. Oh well, it's all stuff I enjoy.
I need a mom break. I'm feeling trampled by domesticity. I think I've pretty much given up on organization while here, especially now that the prospect of a new house is on the horizon. I wonder if Aaron would let me go shopping AND to the gym tonight. I wonder if I should even ask. *sigh* It would be nice though.
Oh, and I really, really need to color my hair. Yipes.
