Today, today is a special day.

Today heralds my one year anniversary of stepping onto England's shores.

I could harp on about how it's all gone by so quickly and how i found it tough at first but now love it and that i still miss my friends and family back home and what not, but that's a bit expected.

Random things i have done/seen in Londinium:

- In first week of arrival i saw two people in raccoon suits reading the paper in Covent Garden.

- In first month, went to see the Peter Pan statue and squee'd inside.

- Saw snow for the first time in my life.

- Embarked into an actual relationship to dwarf all previous competitors.

- Bought a t-shirt for £40... what was i thinking??

- Discovered the HSBC are soulless dreadlords of debt harvesting and are to be reviled and cursed for all time.

- Got all warm and fuzzy with nostalgia as i donned bandages, rags and copious amounts of fake blood.

- Got so drunk that i threw up (neatly into the toilet bowl), passed out in the toilet cubicle, woke up, threw up again, passed out again, then emerged from the toilet cubicle at 10:30am, lost drunk and bewildered at the strange glares of nightclub cleaners.

- Saw the one and only Sophie Ellis Bextor perform for a few brief minutes.

- Saw a washed up cast member of Mile High at the Virgin Megastore.

- Occasionally donned a Santa suit for my work... I'm a bartender, honest.

It's no buddy film with an Orangutan, but it'll do me.
