Snow everywhere
It snowed on Charlottesville on Saturday. . .
then I flew to Minneapolis on Sunday. . .
and now it's snowing in MSP.
I may however strangle someone with STORMWATCH2009!!!!
It's just snow people, it's not a freaking blizzard. At best we'll get 7 inches in the city. Yet guess whose advisor is being a queen and is all "oh no, it might snow 14 inches south of the cities, we can skype instead". Dood *deep breath* you were in freaking Wyoming for how long?
I am just so pleased that I spent money on a plane ticket in November that I had to cancel thanks to him (ohhh I know I said the first week was okay, but now I have a meeting in California then) and I had to buy a second ticket for this trip just so I can sit in the lab and skype with him while he's at home.
Yay, go me.
ugh.
(and I may be slightly pissed that the goal for the dissertation has moved. Apparently having 4 papers submitted is not good enough, they all have to be accepted in the journals. Thankfully one is already accepted and this week's work is paper 2 and then papers 3 and 4 can be submitted one #2 is accepted as they build off this work and need to reference it, but I want to smash right now).
