Ouchie ow.
I have 7 holes in my elbow for only 3 blood draws this morning. My whole arm hurts like heck. And I am not sure if I'll pass the glucose test or not- I had a five hour delay response of needing to puke after the glucola. I wish they had actually been a little more up front about: no liquids for the 2 hours whilst they did the draws and that the glucola had to be gone in 5 minutes. Thankfully I got the stuff down in 5 big gulps.
So lesson learned: if I go to the main blood lab, I want valium because they're pretty damned incompetent.
And after all that I got to come home and then drive M to the airport for a last minute interview in another country. And when I say last minute, I mean they decided Friday at about 4 pm that they wanted to do the interviews this week. We just hope they'll reimburse him for the plane tickets since they weren't organized enough to purchase them for him.
