I bought four barrettes yesterday. All are apples in the colours: red, green, yellow, and blue (yes, I intentionally--and in hindsight pretentiously--used both British spelling and the Oxford Comma). Two more good things have happened since this purchase.
1. I understood all of my Statistics homework. Not having to worry whether or not one's hair is in place leaves more time for mathematizing. P(happy)=4/4 or 100%
2. I am having dinner with my family tonight. That's right, all of us together for the first time since before I went to France. We'll have a veggie dinner just like a normal Sunday. Veggie except for my rather large tuna steak. No eating after midnight, so I must stuff myself before that time.
I spent my afternoon studying in Starbucks. Yes, it's Starbucks, but there are no bums there which makes studying uninterrupted and therefore quicker. However, there was annoying harmonica music--worse than some of the 90.5 (UGA station) Sunday selections (Sunday on 90.5 is the folk, bluegrass, authentic country day where some of the music is too painfully full of banjo and vocal vowel singings that be so B-sharp.).
I will take some pictures of family and post them on blog soon. Then, since I actually got comments on the last blog, I will promise to post more often. I may have forgotten the lj-cut HTML though.
