"...do you think penguins float alright in fresh water?" the youth asked, sorting through a pile of gravel for a fingernail sized pebble and tossing it. The other watched it arc, leaning forward a little to watch it fall. "I mean, are there fresh water penguins?"

"I don't think it would matter that much. Penguins are naturally more boyent because of their fat content," the second replied, lacing his fingers into the chain link fence so he could lean over more. They were sitting on an overpass over the slow highway. Slow, because there were two highways near the town. One that was a good seventy miles per hour and the other that was a 'mere fifty'.

"Huh, never thought of it like that before..." Another rock was tossed and the two waited. The first had his head tilted a little, as if listening. "What do you think about floating iguanas?"
