Pumpkins and plans
Soooo, I don't know if I posted it here, but when my shooting star hydrangea died in the middle of May, I was left with a big fucking pot. So, I decided to try my horrible gardening skills at growing pie pumpkins. A tomato trellis, a bag of organic potting soil, a few seeds and several weeks later, the two vines I allowed to grow are now touching the very top of the trellis. From the female buds I've counted, I should have at least nine pumpkins, hopefully more in the coming weeks.
Tomorrow I also go babysitting. When it's hot. And no AC. I'mma gonna find a 4th of July craft for them to do where we can sit in the shade and not get too dirty.
