Alex Karev/Amelia Shepherd
For Waltzmatildah
“Merry Christmas,” Amelia said with a smirk, gesturing around the room.
Alex blinked, shaking his head. “You bought me a house? That’s kind of awkward, cause all I got you was a gift card to the coffee cart.”
She wrinkled her nose. “That’s really cheap.”
“Dude, you’re lucky I remembered to get you anything.”
“Dude? Seriously?”
He laughed. “My bad. So what exactly are we doing in your brother’s big fancy house.”
“Celebrating.”
“Uh huh.”
“You should know that I’m a really great gift giver, people love my gifts,” she said.
“Yeah?”
“Yeah, I’m basically the best, so I’ve just been thinking and thinking about what you’d really, really love.”
“I actually think I’m pretty easy to shop for,” he said, watching her walk around the empty space.
“Oh, you’re easy babe. Anyway, I think I finally figured out the perfect thing.”
“Your brother’s big fancy house?”
“Not exactly. But I was thinking we could have sex here and that might be fun.”
He grinned, shaking his head. “You want me to screw you in your brother’s dream house?”
She nodded. “For Christmas.”
“That’s twisted.”
“Twisted’s my middle name.”
He laughed and she moved to his side, twisting her fingers around the material of his shirt and pulling his body against hers, kissing him hungrily.
“Merry Christmas,” she whispered. “I was thinking we’d start in the kitchen.” She stepped away, prancing off and swinging her hips. “Lots of big granite countertops.” She tossed her jacket off and hopped onto one, her legs dangling. “And we can kind of improvise after that. It’s a big house, lots to christen.” She leaned back on her elbows and tilted her head at him. “And every time my brother has some stupid, boring party then you can remember me bare assed and spread eagle.”
He licked his lips, walking over to her, his fingers tangling in her hair as he kissed her.
“You know what, this is pretty much the best Christmas present ever.”
She grinned. “I’m good.”
“You’re great.”
“You better get me something better than a freaking gift card.”
“I really should.”
