DMNS With Jenny

Not realizing it was spring break for all the elementary schools in Denver, destinymanifest decided to take Blake & Stewie to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.... Traffic on Colorado Blvd was crazy mad with everyone and their mothers going to the zoo and museum. Parking was a bear, but not as bad as traffic. Who's idea was it to put the zoo and museum right next to each other anyways?

They had a thermal camera and screen, which was neat - though smaller than the one at the Smithsonian in DC. You can see Stewie sleeping on Jenny and Blake in the front-pack with me. Look at how cold (blue) his little fingers were.

They wouldn't let us bring Blake's bottle into the museum, expecting us to go put it in a locker or the car. Uh-huh....and what's he going to eat / drink when it goes bad from sitting in the hot car or one of your lockers? We took it outside and put it into one of the secret compartments in Stewie's mega stroller. Then when the boys got hungry Stewie go to have lunch with his mommy and Blake got to ride around in the front-pack and umbrella stroller enjoying the museum as he ate. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the "Podee" tandem bottles!

I really enjoyed the bear exhibits. With as real as they looked, you could tell that not only did the taxidermist take a lot of time in his work, but that whoever put the displays together took a lot of time too. I could just sit and stare at them - in the chilly room, you could almost feel like you were hanging out with the polar bears. Coca~Cola! ...and seals.

The boys were definitely tired and ready to go home by the time we were done. I can't wait to take Blake back again and again, to watch him discover new things in new ways each time!

Kyle and I went to see the Gold Exhibit on members night....for our May Date Night. I most liked the ancient South American gold pieces and the coins.
