When I Turned 30.
As usual, I'm a few months behind in posting pictures ...and now I'm evading the work that needs to be done around the house (like putting away all the little stuff). Do I really need 40 bottles of nail polish that are essentially the same shade?
In February, as you may remember, we went home for my grandma's funeral. I've found myself missing her over the last couple weeks. It was her birthday last weekend. She would've been so happy to have been here for Blake's baptism this weekend. (And I still haven't found the cross necklace she gave him.) Thankfully we still have Kyle's grandparents, Grandma Marie and Grandpa Gordy. Grandpa (*L* now we don't get our grandparents mixed up) is coming out this weekend with Mom & Dad R.
We flew home for Grandma's funeral on my 30th birthday. I'm very thankful that she didn't pass away on my or Auntie M's birthday. Mom R took everyone out to dinner at the Olive Garden to celebrate my birthday. :D So on to the birthday pictures!
Kayla's growing up so fast. When I first met her, she was 2 years old (almost 3) and could have passed for 5 years old.
Carter, now 4 years old (?), has inherited the "goofball" gene. Kyle thinks Blake is looking so much like Carter.....
Mom R got me serving pieces to go with our Ralph Lauren silverware - which has been added to the list of things that I currently cannot find. :(
Ditty was able to join us. I think he's missed Kyle quite a bit. He kept wanting to get together with us. We accomodated as much as we could. It was a little bit easier since Kyle actually took the full 3 days of bereavement leave.
