Today Charlie and I are hanging out, getting stuff done around the house and around town (bank, post office, find a new dogpark, laundry, ironing, pulling out a new chicken recipe, etc). WooHoo. Actually I'm looking forward to my day at home. Maybe I'll even make it to the gym before Kyle gets off work. We went last night--did some weights and worked on teaching Kyle how to swim--but I need to be going A LOT more. I'm thinking we should also be trying some healthy recipes and starting to watch what we eat more, especially me. Being from the midwest, a typical meal includes meat and potatoes or some variation of. So if any of you know a good recipe for something low-cal/low-fat and healthy....start posting!

Last night I had a bad dream. We were back in Minnesota at Sarah's wedding. I didn't really want to be there, but I was helping zannahope and Mom out some. Zanna had decided to crimp her hair, mind you in my dream it was longer than it is in real life. Mom decided that she didn't like Zanna's hair, so Zanna had the butler trying to straighten it for her. If you've ever crimped your hair--like your entire head of hair--like our mom used to do to ours when we were younger, you would know that it adds volume and frizz like nothing else in the world. The butler was trying to straighten Zanna's hair by taking one chunk at a time and smoothing hair balm over the chunk. It wasn't working, so I took over. I asked him what he was using and he said it was a hair smoothing balm. It ended up being a trial-size packet of KY! *huff* Since we didn't have time to wash Zanna's hair before the bridal procession, I used a skirt bottle to wet down her hair and attempt to comb out the crimping. I had it looking near fabulous with just a few strands of crimping for texture, falling out of her updo that I'd twisted her hair into....when Mom goes "But her hair isn't that long. That won't work." *sigh* Don't worry, Zanna, we got you looking fabulously beautiful....with an updo and in a long, skinny, bright red dress. Then Kyle and I were trying to leave 'cuz I didn't really want to be there, but we kept on running into people from around town that knew me and wanted to chat. At one point, a little girl thought Kyle was Santa and asked him if he delivered there. (In my dream he had a beard.) *L* In response to that, he stuffed a couple of pillows under his shirt and ho ho ho'd his way out. Out at the car, someone had broken into the Saturn and selectively taken CDs, the radio, Kyle's plane tickets and cash. I was pissed and asked Kyle "Now can I dial 411?" "Yes, NOW you can dial 411." "Forget that. I'm dialing 911." When the 911 operator answered he asked me if I was a downed helicoptor or airplane at the airport. WTF? Then I couldn't see the signs for the intersection where we were....all I knew was that we were in the south part of St. Paul somewhere.

Anyways, I've gotta get going to the bank to take names and kick ass. *oculistics* Wells Fargo messed up the funds in my account. NEVER bank with Wells Fargo!
