(no subject)
Last night I was on the phone with Lisa for like an hour and a half, convincing her that she could get through college......I think shes going to end up going to Mansfield......Which isnt a bad thing at all.....I just kind of wanted her to stand on her own.....im gonna have to think of a way to help her but also teach her to stand on her own.....I think if I tell her to go somewhere other than Mansfield, she'll dismiss the idea of college altogether....I can understand why shes afraid.....i mean Im a complete hypocrite! Im not even sure if I can make it through college......but I at least have to make her try.....get away from meadville......Hopefully she'll become more confident being on her own......I just have to leave her alone for a bit....see thats where the challenge is going to lie.....I got so strong because I was by myself when I first got here....I learned my way around......I met new people....I was completely on my own.....and I feel great that I did this all on my own.....I want her to feel that too......but if im here.....if she knows that im here......she'll never be on her own.....she'll always come to me when things get rough.....Maybe i'm underestimating her.....I need to stop looking so far into the future.....first things first....make sure she gets all her questions answered when she comes here for the program.....later on.....make sure she applies to Mansfield.....She still has her whole senior year ahead of her......She told me something exciting last night.....alex boor....a kid from meadville who was in the program last year.....hes starting here on the 29th.....thats exciting as all hell......more meadville people!! YEAH! I love that so few people from meadville know about Mansfield......that its a little slice of paradise.....FARRRRRRRRR away from meadville :-D Which is probably where the paradise factor comes in :-p this makes three people that go to mansfield from meadville.....a senior, a sophomore (sort of), and a freshman. :-) k...gotta get back to work
