(no subject)
So Kory and I went to the wedding.....guess I should recap everything....Kory and I got to the house Friday around 5:30.....We hung out for a bit....I got changed at some point....we headed off to the church to meet up with everyone. Of course everyone that saw me commented on my hair.....nancy and ang hugged me....blah blah blah.....I was really nervous for some reason.....anyways....we all headed over to the holiday inn for the rehearsal dinner.....Kory and I chose a table in the coner and pretty much away from everyone....Talked to a few people here and there....introduced kory....blah blah blah.....eventually Jeff (the groom) came and sat down and talked with us for a bit....I knew those two would have a lot in common.....both majored in the same thing in college.....both video game freaks....blah blah blah.....jeff makes video games at his job and kory asked how he got into that with an english degree.....kory ended up being glad that we came up friday because he wouldnt have gotten to talk to jeff.....I guess he feels a little better about his whole job search thing....anyways....we left the dinner at like 9:30, went back to the house....watched some tv together....made up our beds....blah blah blah.....the second I turned my light off...sylvia comes tiptoeing into the room. I told her I was awake and she could turn the light on. (I was sleeping in a room with sylvia and ang) She dug through her suit case and we talked for a bit....she asked questions about Kory....I might have fibbed a bit on one.....she asked if he was my bf....I said no....she asked if he was a potential bf....I said maybe....lol....*shrugs* ya never know.....its weird though....i dont want him....i think I just know that he would treat me well if we were together....*shrugs* whatever.....so we all went to bed.....i was knocked out because I didnt hear or see ang come in but she was there when I woke up.....I woke up at about 7....on my own....because I wanted to.....dammit this whole internal clock thing is killing me! I spoke to nancy for a bit and then went and took my shower....we were pretty much the only two awake....got out....blow dried my hair...nancy fussed over it a bit....it ended up looking rather nice....we just zig zag parted it on the side and straightened my hair so it looked a little more "finished" as nancy would say.....slowly people came around to get their hair done....ang and sylvia woke up....nancys hired two hairdressers from warren so they were there....I was getting pretty frustrated about everything.....all these girls and me...didnt want to be around the madness anymore....so I woke kory up....he showered and got dressed and we tok off because it was way too crazy at the house for me to stay sane.....we went to Perkins for some breakfast.....my treat.....talked a bit....basically I think I just needed a break from everyone.....I dont know why I feel like I cant really laugh around them....its always fake or nervous laughter....After breakfast we still had some time to blow....so we went to the park....walked around a bit.....went down by the river....blah blah blah......we got my ball out of the car and threw it back and forth to each other....my arm still friggin hurts because I was trying to make it bounce real high.....eventually we got in the car and went back to the house....I got changed.....put my make up on....EVERYONE was there then! Everyone was changed.....we had the "toast" thingy.....and then they headed off to the church because they had to get pictures taken and stuff.....Kory and I ended up driving sean (angs 8 year old cousin) his mother pauline to their hotel because they had to get changed.....we waited around for them because they said they needed a ride to the church.....gregory, uncle rich, johnny, marky, ryan, aunt angy, and uncle john were there.....they didnt need a friggin ride.....but we waited because we thought they did.....we ended up taking sean with us because he wanted to ride with us :-p Cute kid....I think it amused Kory to watch me interact with a kid.....we got to the church and kory and I took our positions at the guest book.....our job, if we should choose to accept it, was to make people sign the fucking thing.....the chrch guestbook was closer to the door so people kept signing it.....morons....we sat through the ceremony.....I got real teary-eyed when everyone was walking out....it was a catholic ceremony (which I know was painful as hell for kory).....it took about an hour....carol and rosalind sang.....it was beautiful.....Kory heard me singing :-/ We kind of had to sing along....oh well....he heard me....and I have an awesome voice....cant wait till marcy gets to hear it :-D The ceremony was really nice.....Kory and I had been saying how we dont want a wedding....we just want to elope.....I think I might want one....a small one.....very limited amount of people....and if I choose to have a reception afterwards......it will be even smaller....i dont want all these nobodys pretending to know and like me......i have a long time to figure it out though......anyways....kory and I had to stick around because they apparently consider me part of the family....i took two group pictures and then left...kory and I got directions to the club and headed over.....eventually everyone else came....Did all the traditional things.....bride and groom dancing together.....bride and brides father.....groom and grooms mother....blah blah blah.....And then there was the tossing of the bouquet.....kill me....kill me now....I was standing and talking to Kory and Mickey......then the DJ said "we need any women over 16 and single to report to the dance floor for the throwing of the bouquet" I laughed and told them that I was not going up there.....mickey tried to push me up...course that didnt work....so then she went up to the DJ and gave him my name....so he was calling my name.....that was sooooo embarassing.....sooooooooooo embarassing.....so I went out....ang threw the damn thing....and then I went back to kory....we had to do it again I guess because one of the kids caught it or something.....didnt catch it....shucks.....guess im not the next one to get married....SUPRISE! :-p Shortly after all that happened....kory and I wanted to get the fuck out of there....we left around 7.....said good bye......changed out of my fucking skirt!!! and hit the road.....I did have other things I wanted to point out about this trip but I am now tired of writing....soooooooooooo I will write them later.....ta ta
