Poor Kitty
Okay so one of my biggest pet peeves is people who run down innocent unsuspecting animals and don't even bother to stop and check on them. So the other night I'm sitting in my house when I here this car flying down my street and it made a sound as it was passing I look out my front door but I don't see anything. Later my nephew comes in and says there's a cat in the streeet. Now this cat isn't one of my favs it's a large Tom that shows up when all the ladies are in heat and well figure out the rest. But the fact is this cat just crossing the street and BAM! He gets hit by a car the person is going so fast in a residential neighborhood that he couldn't have stopped if he wanted to it just really pisses me off. Not to mention that as fast as they were going it could have been a small child and they wouldn't have been able to stop.
Anyway we wrapped the poor kitty in a towel and put him in a trashbag and buried him in the yard. I realize not everyone feels the way I do about an alley cat but I just think it wouldn't have hurt the person to stop the car and check on him he wasn't my pet but he could have been someone's.
