It has been some time.
And, frankly, there isn't whole lot to say except that we are all still alive and doing well. Aside from me trying to shake a chest cold, everyone is in reasonably good health. The kids enjoyed their holiday. Sam and I did too. Sam and I witnessed a 9 year dream come to a close. They will be missed. 2008 rang in quietly. That was fine. Work sees my efforts making a difference and beginning to be recognized in a positive way. Hopefully the pay will get better too. A lot of bad apples are being removed from the barrel. This year will see me celebrate a full decade with my company. My former husband and all of his friends swore I would never make it a year. Shows how much he REALLY knew his wife, doesn't it? None of his friends were any better. Garion is getting closer to graduation. Logan will start high school this fall. Laney has discovered what she wants to do after high school. I have 2 years to figure out how to pay for it. I have faith that through hard work and trust in God, it'll happen. So, all and all, I am in a very good place at the moment, and I thank God for that! I hope the new year has found all of those I hold dear are in like spirits. Heaven's blessings and Happy New Year!!
