I only add people I'm friends with. If you're here for mixes, those will always be public, so no worries there. If you're here for fic, that will be found at flamescreateus (once I actually finish and post something, that is). Fic will be open there for a week before it is flocked, but membership is open so all you have to do is join the community to see it. (Why yes, I totally did nab this idea from likecharity, why do you ask?)
