My birthday went as follows (to quote what I just wrote back to Suz in response):
I just got in from a busy day at work that did net me Supernatural Season three and my friend's for cake that netted me goodies and a half bottle of Shiroz consumed. :D.
That Shiroz is making the Vice Presidential canidates debate go down a LOT better and the coffee is keeping me alert for Lois and Clark, aka, Smallville, ersatz season eight *eg* and Supernatural.
It's been a good, albeit, tiring day. And then I come home to the nice surprise of lovely happy birthday wishes from you and others when I didn't even expect anyone to even remember me with my super limited on line time. Thank you, sweetie!
Thank you. It's not just your recs, or your rants or your scarily complete grasp on the pulse of fandom that I look to. When you just post on what's up with you at work or with your life and family I feel I've had a chance to catch up with *you* even if I'm too tired to comment and am sleepily planting myself into my keyboard face first.
I just feel good knowing you're out there.
