Story In the Distance, (Taeyeon)
Beneath the music and the fans lies the messiest of politics, the shadiest of offers, the hardest of liquor. Worn eyes gaze at the reflection in the mirror,
"I'll be unhappy now so I can be happy later. That's how the best stories go."
Deep down, Taeyeon knows: she will never be happy now, only later. Only eventually.
Because life isn't a bedtime story, life is unruly and unforgiving: life is chaos.
Only the Stars Can Hear, (Tiffany)
At night when i'm the only one left in the dorms (I hope the girls have a nice time at home), I walk outside and gaze at the stars. I tell the sky everything: my secrets, my dreams, how my days go. I tell it all of my fears and insecurities and I talk about how Taeyeon makes me so happy.
I also tell the sky my darkest and loneliest thoughts of you; every time I start I begin to cry and wish and plead but all the stars do is shine their light back onto me.
Miss you, mom.
What's Done is Done, (seosic)
You worry so much, and I can never understand why. Repeating things over and over trying to get them perfect before they're even needed is redundant because you do things perfectly the first time around anyway.
At night your stoic exterior breaks down on my shoulder and you pour out your troubles onto my sheer nightgown; I know you wished you'd have done that differently, and I know you just wanted to please everyone, and I know you just wanted to be perfect;
"Seohyun, it's ok. It's ok."
Worrying about the past will get you no where, and I wish you'd see that you can't change what you've done. What you do now, however, is another story altogether.
Worry less, do more. Kiss me.
