I totally cried for Sho-chan at the end, even though I pretty much knew what was going to happen. His life in hard, in any incarnation. I love this so much that I want sequels! It should be a continuing series, just like the actual show.

D'awww this was all about camaraderie, loyalty and trust and that's really what Yamapair is ALL about <3 It was adorable. I love how Ohno doesn't realize how amazing he is - having made it ALL the way to captaincy without even /wanting/ to, how difficult Sho's life is, how adorably experimental Aiba is, Nino's AMAZING plans and wit, and Jun... Oh Jun and his past with Sho and how he's essentially a big softie.

<3 I won't lie. I was looking forward to Sho's birthday because I knew there would be fic from you <33

Yeah from Ohno's perspective he's all LOL LEADERSHIP but he demonstrates some leadership here and has some heroic moments, he's just the type who would downplay those characteristics in himself :)

And it can't be Sho's birthday without Sho enduring some hardship!

Yay! Birthday fic! Won't lie but admit I'd hoped it'd be sakumoto (still there in the past at least), but loved the synergy of the Stormchaser crew. Awww~~ Riida. I think U'd make the maximum love I have for this overflow if my recent OT3 of yamamoto had appeared. Lol. Thanks for the wonderful lighthearted piece, and I had to just LOL at "koopa troopa" (don't ask me why cos I've yet to figure out why it tickles my funny bone). Hugs and thanks again dearie for this escape into unchartered territory.

Koopa troopa (and all of those lame jokes) were way too fun for me!

I'm glad you liked it! The nature of who they are in Star Trek-land meant Yama Pair has to be the future...but in the new reboot movies they had "Spock" and "Uhura" be together, so I had to somehow find a way to sneak that in with Sakumoto :)

I was getting scared at some point... until Nino injected Ohno with that thing xD
I'll be honest with you... I laughed so much imagining Sho with pointy ears having pon farr xDDDD That part where he asks Aiba to send him porn was too funny!

I absolutely loved this Arashi version of Star Trek. Your portrayal of their Star Trek counterparts was spot on and I could totally imagine them in their costumes (although I kept picturing T'Maki as an overly surly Klingon...I guess I need to be a better Star Trek fan :P).

Just like McCoy and Spock, I enjoyed the jibes between Sho and Nino although the character I absolutely adored the most had to be Aiba and his pervy moments.

Thank you so much for this birthday fic. It really has made my day.

LOL Maki strikes me as someone who is too calm 99% of the time to be anything but a Vulcan! Klingons are way more passionate :)

McCoy and Spock is my favorite friendship/antagonist thing ever. I adore their relationship and it was just so natural for Sakumiya to slip into those roles. McCoy is actually my favorite Trek character, so he gets some good zingers in!
