Title: The Naked Truth
Rating: PG-13
Characters/Pairings: Matsumoto Jun/Sakurai Sho
Summary: “Who stands in front of their window with their pants halfway down their ass?”
Notes/Warnings: I'm sorry for this, but Sho's half naked body is all over my friends list today. I will get to all the fic I owe you people later. I wanted something silly first.

Jun could only look on in horror when he made it back to the green room after Himitsu filming was completed. There was no way to get out of this, was there? The three of them - Aiba, Nino, Leader - they were sitting on the couch with the An-an in the middle of them, smiling and pointing at the contents.

“Really,” Nino scoffed, thumping the glossy magazine page with his finger. “Who stands in front of their window with their pants halfway down their ass?”

“I think it looks relaxed. Laid back,” Ohno chimed in.

“He’s always had a nice butt,” Aiba admitted.

Jun hadn’t had time to stop home between hitting the magazine stand and filming, and he could have sworn he’d zipped his bag shut, too. Now these three idiots were thumbing through his personal property, and his secret shame was exposed. He headed straight for the bathroom to clean the makeup from his face, but Aiba spotted him trying to sneak away.

“Heeeey Matsujun, why’d you only get one copy?”

He glared his very best glare. “Why were you in my bag?”

“Why was Sho’s magazine in your bag?” Nino shot back.

“Answer my question!”

Ohno looked sheepish. “My hands were dry. I figured you’d have some lotion so…”

He took the magazine out of their greedy hands, praying there’d be no smudge marks on it. Sure, they all saw each other in various states of undress - changing for shoots, for TV filming, for concerts, but it wasn’t like Jun really had time to focus on…the good things about Sho’s physique. He hadn’t even known Sho had been working with a trainer - but the proof was in the pictures.

In his shoulder blades, in the lean muscles of his arms, in the…Nino was leering at him now.

“I bought it as a joke,” he lied.

“Bought what as a joke?” Sho asked, coming into the room and already starting to unbutton his shirt before heading home.

Jun was just hiding the magazine behind his back, but Aiba was too quick, springing off the couch and snatching it away. “This! This, Sho-chan!”

Sho looked incredibly embarrassed, making Jun even more so. “You…you actually bought it?”

“Not me,” Aiba declared. “Matsujun did.”

Sho was blushing now, and Jun was ready to crawl under a rock and die. There was really no excuse he could make. He bought it for his sister? Creepy. He bought it for another female friend? Why couldn’t they buy it themselves? Oh, he was screwed.

He didn’t expect Sho to say “Thank you” then…but he did.

He just looked away, unbuttoning the rest of his shirt. “Thank you. For uh…supporting me? I…I have to get cleaned up. We’re filming early tomorrow.”

Sho took the bathroom, leaving Jun helpless with his other three bandmates. Nino insinuated himself into Jun’s space, wrapping an arm lazily around his waist. “Don’t worry, your secret’s safe with us.”

He rolled up the magazine and batted Nino away with it. He shoved it into his bag and changed quickly without cleaning up, listening to Aiba and Ohno talk about Sho’s muscle tone and how impressive it was. Jun could just shower at home. It would probably be a cold shower, too. He made sure he was already out the door before Sho emerged from the bathroom.

--

Shukudai filming at NTV went late a few days later, and Sho had collapsed on one of the sofas to take a quick nap before going out with some of his friends. He’d apparently been busy with drama filming most of the day prior to the shoot. Jun hadn’t spoken to him since the incident with the magazine - it would blow over. They were both busy, so maybe Sho would forget that Jun had personally purchased a copy for himself.

He was on his way out, the other three troublesome bandmates having left already (probably intentionally), when Sho stirred and called his name.

“Can you…could you stay a minute?”

Jun let the green room door close, setting his bag down. “Sure, what’s up?” His heart was beating faster already.

Sho yawned, leaning forward to unzip his bag. Jun watched as Sho pulled out a plastic convenience store bag, not meeting his eyes. “Just so you know. I’ve had this for a while now.”

He stepped forward tentatively, taking the bag from Sho’s had. Inside was an An-an magazine - Jun’s An-an magazine from his own shoot. “You…you have the one I’m in?”

“I just figured that…that well…” Sho looked awfully nervous and jumpy. “I felt bad that they were teasing you. They…probably don’t know I have this.”

He didn’t know why the thought of Sho having his magazine in turn pleased him so much. They saw each other all the time, clothed and not, so what was the big deal? Then again, seeing Sho nearly every day didn’t stop him from watching Sho on News Zero every week like clockwork (or the next morning if he had a late night).

It was normal, right? Supporting your bandmates? Though he didn’t suspect that the members of NEWS had gone out to buy Yamapi’s An-an, or that the members of KAT-TUN lined up to get Akanishi’s.

Okay, Jun decided. It was more than supporting a bandmate. It was supporting one in particular by paying for pictures of him half naked. Then sitting up with a bottle of wine and appreciating them at night. Really appreciating them.

“Uh, Matsujun?” Sho was tugging on the bag. “Can I put this away now?” He let Sho take it back to shove it behind his laptop. “It was a nice shoot. Very tasty.”

“Pardon?” Jun asked, stomach dropping.

“I mean, tasteful,” Sho said as he shakily zipped up his bag. “A tasteful shoot.”

“Right.” He thought about Sho’s An-an back in his apartment, the damn bed sheet getting in the way of letting Jun see something he could probably easily check out in person. “Yours too.”

Jun was realizing why he and Sho weren’t alone too often.

Sho pulled on a baseball cap. “I…I might call it an early night.” He was already writing out a mail on his phone. “Might just stay home and get some sleep. Location shooting tomorrow.”

Why was Sho telling him this? Was he calling off his night out with friends? Or was he maybe implying…?

“Did you…uh, did you want to get something to eat? I mean. Not necessarily tonight, but uh…” Hadn’t he resolved to spend more time with Sho this year? At least Sho was better about picking up his own tab than the others.

Sho closed his phone and nodded. “Sure.”

--

Sho had been implying, and it only took two beers at the yakiniku place and then a bottle and a half of wine at Jun’s apartment before Jun got to see what the folks at An-an had airbrushed out.

Jun’s bandmate was standing by Jun’s kitchen island, belt loops in his fingers as he held down his jeans. “Hair here, all gone!” Sho declared, and Jun could see the faint trail of dark hair that went from Sho’s navel to disappear into his jeans. His body had definitely changed since they were teenagers, but well, Jun’s had too, hadn’t it?

Jun nodded in appreciation. “Obscenity laws and all.”

Sho turned around, sliding the jeans a little further down his hips. He was twisting and turning to check his backside. Needless to say, he wasn’t as graceful as the photo shoot might have implied. “I swear there’s a mark or a dot or something that’s gone from my ass.”

Jun walked over, poking his upper lip with a finger. “They put makeup or brush this out a lot.” He wasn’t drunk, but he was doing very well. He examined Sho’s lower back, thumb tapping against his spine. “Where?”

Sho patted his rear. “From my butt, I know there’s a dot there.”

Jun went back to grab the open An-an from his coffee table. He did a side by side comparison, crouching down and holding the magazine open next to Sho’s backside. “Ah.”

“You found it?”

“I found it.”

--

When he woke up the next morning and Sho’s personally trained stomach was underneath his fingertips, Jun agreed that the real deal was better than any magazine shoot could hope to be.
