Lamp
There is an orchid living with me. Her name is Lamp. iconoclass gave her this name because she illuminated the room, if I remember correctly. Lamp is a gorgeous plant.
She's been with me for three years now. We had a bad start because I tend to water plants too much and I almost killed her. But plants are vigorous. At a time nobody would have bet a peanut on her, she blossomed again.
Soon I'll be on the road again and I can't take her with me. I had asked a friend to take care of her but I could see that she wasn't enthusiastic about it. So I think I'll ask my mom to take care of her. She won't risk being over-watered because my mom forgets to water plants. I think I'll simply call my mom on days when Lamp should get some water.
This picture was taken last year. Lamp hasn't flowers yet. I won't see them this year. Time for me to turn a page, start a new chapter of my life, and leave the past behind me. Goodbye, Lamp.
