I saw a squirrel this morning in the walnut tree. It's the first time I see one in this place in 40 years. And damn, it was even quicker than birds. At least, I've got blurry pictures from the birds. I've got none from that funny creature.
I knew I had rabbits, stray cats, a small pheasant and other birds: ravens, magpies, jays, woodpeckers. And lots of bats at night. And there are those we'll see only in the summer: lizards, snakes, hedgehogs.
I see all this life every day from my window. Yet each time I take my camera, there is no way to make a correct picture of any of them. It's quite frustrating. So far, my best shots are with insects. Insects love to pose.
