The city of Ceti by the coast of the eastern Seres Sea was the glorious centerpiece of the Luma civilization. After the gods had nearly forsaken them, the city had fallen the hardest to internal strife and war, the epicenter of all despair. However, after the return of the Living Goddess, this city thrived and was reborn. Now it was the center of the known world; every day its ports would be docked with countless vessels, bring shipments from all across the world. Merchants and travelers would always be lined at the great marble gates waiting to enter the city. The city enjoyed peaceful days, rarely ever faced with crime of their own.

The reason for that, was none other than the fact this city housed a goddess. Right at the center of the rebuilt city was a enormous temple dedicated to the Goddess of Justice, serviced by her holy priestesses and guarded by purified men who had willingly given up their position in society to faithfully serve the goddess. The temple, although large and out in the open of the city and open to all worshipers was one of the most heavily guarded areas. No one, except the holy maidens themselves were allowed entrance to the Maiden's Chamber hidden away in the back of the temple. It was punishable by death and eternal suffering to enter, especially if it was a man.

And on such a beautiful sunny day...

The wide gates of the city opened, guards shouting and clearing a way for a prisoner's carriage to make its way through the city. The citizens of the city gathered around in morbid curiosity before following the carriage. There was only one reason for such a vehicle to be brought into this city and the people were not going to miss the spectacle.

Connected to the back of the temple, there was an curious arena. This one housed no competitions nor artistic events. No, on the side of all the arena's doors proudly stated "The Room of Judgement". On the side of the arena connected to the temple, there was a door while on the side opposite of that were stands upon stands for spectators.

The carriage made its way until it stopped in front of the temple. The guards all stomped the end of their spears against the ground in unison. "We seek the presence of the Living Goddess on the matter of Justice." the head guard bellowed at the top of his lungs into the temple.

A moment passed and a priestess, decked out in traditional white appeared and nodded before answering. "Then bring your sorrows and pains to the Room of Judgment and let the Living Goddess cure you of your ills."
